  • To supplement the efforts of the Kenya government to meet the needs of children with disabilities.
  • To promote the institutionalization , development and use of Kenyan sign language (KSL).
  • To collaborate and network with all stakeholders working for the welfare of hearing impaired children.

  • KSDC has constructed equipped and furnished over 30 full-fledged schools for the Deaf in the country.
  • The Society has provided over 20 other schools with infrastructure development, bursary support or other related assistance

  • The society is leading champion in the fight for rights of hearing impaired children including initiating legal intervention towards enforcement of specific rights.
