Kenya Society for Deaf Children (KSDC) is managed by a very competent Governing Council composed of Educationists, Health Specialists, Financiers, Program Development Specialists, Teachers and Parents.

The very committed team gives valuable service to the organization at no cost.  The Governing Council submits reports and audited financial statements to members at an annual General Assembly.

The Governing council has three task-specific sub committees :-

  • Finance and General Purposes Committee
  • Programs Committee
  • Fundraising and Public Relations Committee

Some of the institutions represented in the KSDC Governing council are;

  3. Ministry of Health
  4. Kenya National Association of the Deaf
  5. Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development
  6. Kenya National Examinations Council
  7. National Council of Persons with Disabilities
  8. Kenyatta National Hospital – ENT Department


The Society has the a Board of Trustees registered under the trustees (Perpetual Succession Act) CAP 164 of the laws of Kenya.

The trustees are the custodians of the physical assets of the society.
