WHAT WE DO
The society focuses on Prevention & management of deafness and hearing loss.
We support programs aimed at identication, assessment and placement of hearing impaired children through provision of audiological equipment, materials & training of selected ENT Staff across the country.
KSDC has established DECHI HEARING CENTRE a level 2 medical facility offering a wide range of ENT diseases consultation & treatment.
The centre is currently the leading dispenser of low cost but high quality Hearing Aids for hard of hearing persons in Kenya.
We also carryout calibration of audiometers, repair & servicing of hearing aids at highly subsidized rates.
Key Objective:
The main objective is to address hearing loss as a health issue, obtain necessary data and engage in primary, secondary and tertiary prevention of deafness and hearing loss among children and youth.
